BRITISH 10K RUN 2010 PDF E-mail

18 people took part in the London British 10K Run, raising just over £3,000 for The Nasio Trust, and helping support 218 children in our care in Kenya.

The run took place on July 11th, starting at Hyde Park Corner and finishing in Whitehall, passing Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge, and the Houses of Parliament along the route. Despite the heat and the long distance, the runners managed to finish in excellent times: Steve Nyanga took only 45minutes.

“All the army training came in handy but what was exciting was the crowds, the adrenalin and the excitement on the day”, said Steve.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part this year – and if you you’d like to join us fundraising run in the future, have a look at our Events Page , which contains details of many future events.
