St Irene's Day Care Centre (BOYS) The new St Irene's day care centre was opened in November 2009. There are now more than 70 children attending the centre, with the older children being taught at nearby Milimani primary school. Family history: Father died from TB, mother was left with half an acre of land. She grows sugar and works in a hotel, however the income does not make for a stable living environment. Henry has one sister and four brothers including Henry Khamala who also attends the centre. William is supported by a UK sponsor.

The new Noah's Ark Centre was officially opened 22 November 2005. It has more than140 children in its care and is manned by ever enthusiastic staff.

Operation Noah’s Ark has been set up by the Campus Youth Centre, in
Berinsfield, Oxfordshire, UK, with the aim of helping many Kenyan orphans.
