Become More Involved Through “Friends of the Nasio Trust” in the United States
As we look into the future, we are exploring whether there may be interest in establishing a dedicated “Friends of the Nasio Trust” organisation in the United States that is focused specifically on furthering our mission of empowering communities in western Kenya. We invite you to support us in any capacity, such as through governance, advocacy, or advice as we embark on this journey.
A “Friends of” organization is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit created specifically to support a foreign charity or cause. It allows American donors to make tax-deductible contributions to international organizations while complying with IRS regulations and avoiding the administrative burdens of direct overseas giving and allows small charities like Nasio to have a US-presence without having to formally establish itself there.
