Rosie Blackaller & The Nasio Trust – All WIll Clear
May 2016

The Nasio Trust has been fundraising since 2013 to build a medical centre in the remote rural community of Musanda in Western Kenya.

Now complete, the building is a testament to the determination of all those who raised the money and worked to create a place that will save and enhance lives for generations to come. However the building now needs to be equipped and staffed; once up and running it will be self-sustaining.

Singer/songwriter Rosie Blackaller has kindly agreed to allow her hauntingly beautiful song All Will Clear to be the soundtrack to a slideshow of Sarah Daly’s photographs of the people who will directly benefit from this wonderful medical facility. We hope that you are moved by these expressive faces and will text TEXT02 £2 to 70070 to donate to this great cause.

Thank you.

"I had no hope of being educated but now have the chance to access education, food, clothing and medication. I will work hard and dream to become a builder, to construct homes for people who don’t have shelter."

Changes to the Kenyan Healthcare System Leaves Thousands At Risk

Kenya’s new Social Health Authority (SHA) was meant to expand access to free healthcare. For the communities Nasio serves, it is doing the opposite.

The transition from the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) to SHA has introduced income-based premiums, digital registration, and phone-dependent systems that many families simply cannot access—particularly women, children, and the poorest households.
