Easter Appeal

As we celebrate Easter, a season of renewal, sacrifice and hope, we invite you to stand with families in rural western Kenya and share something beautifully simple, yet life changing.

At Nasio, we work in vulnerable communities, where too many families are facing rising food prices, unpredictable weather patterns, and the lasting effects of global economic instability. And the poorest communities feel these shocks first – and hardest.

It is the difference between attending school and staying home hungry.

For the children we support, food security is not an abstract idea. It is the difference between attending school and staying home hungry. Between health and illness. Between hope and despair.
Here’s how you can help:

This Easter, you can make that difference by gifting a Laying Hen or a Food Parcel to aid a child and family in need.

You can help us by donating, sharing this message, or encouraging others to get involved.

Changes to the Kenyan Healthcare System Leaves Thousands At Risk

Kenya’s new Social Health Authority (SHA) was meant to expand access to free healthcare. For the communities Nasio serves, it is doing the opposite.

The transition from the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) to SHA has introduced income-based premiums, digital registration, and phone-dependent systems that many families simply cannot access—particularly women, children, and the poorest households.
