Livingstone’s Story

Livingstone was a happy, healthy 5 year old boy attending our St. Irene’s Early Childhood Development Centre. On October 31st 2013 he became feverish and received rudimentary medicine to treat these symptoms.

On the 4th of November, around 8PM his stomach began to bloat and his condition deteriorated again quickly.

Matt gears up for Kenyan fundraiser

A Shirebrook man is planning a trip to Kenya to build a hospital and donate four Land Rovers which can be used as ambulances by local medics.

The expedition has been organised through the Nasio Trust - an international charity which runs day-care centres in western Kenya providing orphaned children with a daily meal, education, medical care and support.
