Breaking the cycle of poverty

Nancy is Walking the Camino

This year marks 25 years of The Nasio Trust. 25 years of children supported, 25 years of communities strengthened, 25 years of lives changed – together with you.

In recognition of this amazing milestone, I will be walking a 250km section of the Camino de Santiago in May – an incredible journey across Spain!

I will be walking a 250km section of the Camino de Santiago in May

It’s a time for reflection. But also a moment to look forward and contemplate an important question: How do we truly break the cycle of poverty and reach the next generation of children who still need support?

Many years ago, my mother found a 3 month old baby called Moses, alone in a field. Today, he is a qualified dental technician. That is what long-term support can do. And there are hundreds of children today with that same potential.

Please consider standing with me, and with them, by sponsoring my adventure.

What your support can do:

  • £25 – supports a child for one month
  • £50 – provides essential school supplies
  • £100 – buys school uniforms for six children
  • £250 – covers a year of primary school fees

As I walk each day, I’ll be thinking about the journey these children are on — and the role we can all play in supporting them. Thank you for being part of this story. Everything we have achieved over the past 25 years has been because of people like you.

Now we take the next steps – together. Support my adventure here.

Thank you!

Nancy

It was a powerful lesson in leadership, service and community, testing resilience, deepening understanding and reminding us what […]

Giving Is Changing – But Your Support Changes Lives

Fewer people in the UK are giving to charity today.

While many supporters remain generous, charities are now relying on a smaller group of committed individuals. At the same time, more people feel disconnected or unsure about where their money goes.
